Possible.
Love is very rare, to me it's even rarer than hate. Although you may immediately disagree, I'd like to share with you what I believe love to be.
Love is selfless. Sure, you've probably heard that a thousand times, but have you actually taken the time to consider what it is that exactly means? I'll tell you. It means that another person is willing to put you before themselves. When someone else cares enough to put your needs before their own. When they care more about your personal health, even at the expense of their own. This also doesn't mean "sometimes" selfless, it means "always" selfless.
Love is forgiving. Another generic phrase, that I also believe people don't actually take the time to understand. Forgiving means that you are always willing to take the other person you love back, no matter what they did. This also, doesn't mean that you don't acknowledge what they've done wrong. Make sure you bring it to their attention, and try to help them improve. However, you should always be willing to help and defend those whom you believe wronged you, if you love them.
Love is understanding. Love will always be willing to hear your side of the story. It'snot quick to antagonize or throw around accuations. It's willing to try and figure out problems with you, rather than marking you the enemy. Love will never make you the villian, rather always try and help you.
Love is complicated. I'm sure you know that. It's hard to tell when someone does or doesn't love you. It's hard to tell when someone is doing something for you out of the goodness of their heart, or if they have some alternate motive.
I believe that this term is thrown around too loosely. I don't believe that the average person has all of their friends "love" them. Rather they "like" them and enjoy their presence. I would signal "love" to be very rare. The most common place for most people to find love, I believe, is in their family. A family should always stick up for each other and build each other up, trying to get each other to improve. They souldn't tear each other down and throw around insults. A family should fight for one another and understand each other's probelms, because I believe when it really comes down to it, they're gonna be your "go to" and help you out until the end.
