When one life ends, another shall begin...
Amazing that I am sitting with friends and eating a tremendous amount of food, when only one week ago I walked into my uncle Theodore’s house and found him lying face down in a pool of his blood. The detective said there was no evidence of a break-in and that there was no signs of a struggle. However, he did mention that he had a strange needle sized hole on the back of his neck. The detective did not know what caused the puncture wound nor did the coroner. Furthermore, Theodore’s lawyer was going over his Will and apparently I was left something. He did not want to tell me over the phone and said to meet him in person with the rest of Theodore’s family. Not that Theodore had much of a family. His only kin were me, my sister, and my parents. He had a pretty busy life so family wasn’t really a priority for him. Usually he was going to Rome, or swimming in the Atlantic or even going to New York for what he called “business meetings.” He was hardly ever at home.
“Torren, are you going to eat this pig ear or not?” Torren was snapped from his thoughts by his baby faced friend Slave. Torren had completely zoned out and forgot that he was at a new Japanese restaurant. The name made him the butt of many racist jokes since he also happened to be black. His parents’ had a cruel sense of humor. Especially since they adopted him and they are both white. They treat him very well, practically on par with any good parents would. This joke name of Slave raised a lot of eyebrows to cops, other parents and people in general.
After they had eaten all of their food Torren had to blow off his buddies because he got a text from the lawyer to hurry to his office as soon as he could. Thus Torren took out his bike keys and put on his custom helmet with a painting of Drogo Daenerys’s black dragon from “The Game of Thrones” the strongest and biggest of her three and he rode off on his green and black Kawasaki Ninja.
I wonder what could be wrong. Perhaps the lawyer found out the cause of his uncle’s death. Shaking his head. No that is not it, perhaps there was something very unusual in the will or maybe he was giving everything to charity. I wouldn’t put it past my uncle to do something like that he always liked to toss his money towards good causes. Besides if my parents or sister got any money they would just spend it on stupid shit. Myself included like maybe a car or just save it. Really depended on the size of the money. If I was given like five bucks I would just buy a candy bay and be contempt. Oh shit almost got his by the crazy chick in the van. Like what the fuck keep your eyes on the road and not on your damn phone. I swear that new law is no help at all. Still at half a tank, dang this bike gets good mpg. He patted the side of the bike almost congratulating it on it’s wondrous fuel efficiency and he twisted the handle and let the small engine come to life and rode to the lawyer’s office.
He parked next to the smoked Cadillac cts-v coupe. It was stunning and he always felt more comfortable parking next to a nicer car, it gave him a feeling his bike would be safer and less likely to be stolen. As he was walking into through the door he saw a green candied apple lotus exige with a massive wing on it’s ass. It had something written on it, Torren could just barely make out “Relativity” as he finally got in the office.
“Nice to see you Torren, Christopher is waiting for you down the hall.” Scarlett said with a genuine smile. She was a younger secretary, mid 20s and was very attractive and had an attraction to Torren ever since she first met him. Torren could tell she had liked but never knew how much. He was oblivious to her stripping him with her eyes.
“Nice to see you to Scarlett, and I gotta say you look lovely today. Well you look lovely every time I see you.” He said walking away from a very red face Scarlett. He walked a good twenty feet before getting to the door marked Christopher Stone. In a gold and silver plaque. Torren knocked on the door three times and waited.
“Come in, come in Torren.” “Close the door behind you we have some very delicate things to discuss.” He said sitting at his luxurious chair, but he looked strangely uncomfortable and was sweating through his two layers of clothes.
“Is everything okay Chris? You seem flustered.” Torren said as he sat down across from Christopher.
“Well I should be after I found out.” “I am sorry about all of this I really did want to tell you sooner, but your uncle forbade me and now after looking his will and the fact that he wants me to tell you I am scared.”
“Scared of what? Tell me what, what is going on.?” Torren asked in a very worried manner.
“I am going to let you read the will instead, it will give you an idea as to what is going on and I will explain more about after you read.”
Amazing how life ends so abruptly. I know Torren is going to be the only one reading my will and I have been counting on that. Torren when you read this I have perished hopefully by natural causes at the age of 99, but I am going to assume that is not the case. I fear that I won’t be around for much longer. There is something I have to tell you Torren I have not told you everything about me. You may not believe me, but I am a hit man for the United States. Yes you are reading correctly our country pays me for killing targets in this country or a foreign one. I have been on a recent assignment lately where I eliminated one of the leaders of Requiem. A terrorist and black market specialized group. I fear that the other leaders know who I am and what I did. So even though I know this is hard for me to say well write to you. I must ask you to talk to Loren Sanders. She is my contact for my missions. Chris will help you in this aspect. He actually use to be my partner until he retired for something less stressful. Law! He considers that to be less stressful, whereas I find law to be more stressful. Imagine that. I have also put a small enough amount towards our family. Your Mom and Dad and Sister. A sum of $40,000.01 to be split between the three of them just had to add the cent to make it more difficult for them. For you Torren I am giving you my house, my cars and all of the rest of my money. an amount of 65 million dollars and 99 cents. Chris will give you directions in case thing goes awry but remember this “A lion must eat a deer, but cannot eat the grass while man can eat all three.” You may not know what this means yet but I have a feeling you will eventually. See you in uh hell? Haha.
“Chris uh how do I say this nicely?” “What the holy fucking shit!” “What is this and why me and what is going on?” My uncle was some secret hitman for our country. I must be losing my freaking mind. Oh god I hope my families lives don’t come into harms way because of this. Although sucks for them with the whole money thing my uncle kinda stiffed them.
Chris began to pull something out from behind his desk causing Torren to almost shit himself thinking it was a gun. A long thin black box was pulled out instead. “Torren the rest of your answers will be known to you soon I promise but please take these first.” Flipping the box open and presenting three cards. An onyx credit card something that Torren has never seen before. The card in the middle was crystal clear and was the thinnest. The last card was half the size of the others and was in a futuristic alien blue color.
“I am pretty certain you already assumed the onyx card is a credit card, but it is only given to people of extremely high net worth and power. You can purchase anything in the world with this card so be careful. This crystal card is actually made of a special mix of quartz, glass and machinery. It works as a smartphone to put it simply but much more advanced. This blue card will actually change shape into anything like if you need a small hammer it can turn to that if you need a key it will change and so on. There’s no directions for it you just have to find out on your own how to get that one to work.”
Torren took all three cards and put them in his Tommy Hilfiger wallet. “Now go outside and there will be a car waiting for you.” Chris said. “Where am I going?” Torren asked puzzled. “You are going to see your uncle’s handler.” Chris responded. With that he buzzed in Scarlett where she escorted him out to a black limo waiting outside. She opened the door and said “See you later Torren” With a wink.
The limo was plain on the outside, but the inside was a whole nother story. It had a red velvet pathway for your feet to be placed on while sitting down. There was a cooler on the side with two crystal cups with a letter J on one and a letter W on the other. There was blackberry wine and some citrus rum in ice. The seats inside the limo were of a dark leather almost like it was made of dark chocolate or from the hide of a black panther. It was impossible to see who the driver was because there was nothing connecting the passenger side of the limo to the drivers side. There was however a little intercom that was built into the right side of the limo wall where Torren could push a button and ask the driver questions. Much good that did because every time Torren asked the driver a question his response would be “I am not authorized to say” or “I don’t know sir.”
After half an hour consisting of many twists and turns there was a sudden stop. Torren heard the driver talking to someone and in a matter of seconds they began moving again. Within a minute of them moving they stopped again. This time however Torren heard someone walking to the car and then heard the mechanisms of the door click open. “Hello sir, this way please.” It was a womans voice. He got out of the limo and saw a blonde middle aged woman dressed in a white blouse with a black pencil skirt with heels to match. “What is your name?” Torren asked.
“My name Mr. Torren is Michelle.” she said. “You can just call me Torren, no Mr needed I mean I am only twenty.” Torren said with a smile. “How do you know my name?” In a not accusing way. “Well nearly everyone from the Agency knew your uncle and he never stopped talking about you.” Hearing that surprised Torren because his uncle never said much about the agency to him, it still made him happy to hear that his uncle mentioned him.
Michelle lead him through a revolving door and had him follow her around people in business attire with a few random people looking like they were going on vacation. They went past the front desk with a girl in her thirties with casual wear. Talking on the phone to someone in a russian dialect. Michelle brought Torren to a red door, which was out of place to all of the brown, rustic looking doors that they passed by. Pressing Torrens shoulder Michelle said. “Go in, he is waiting. Come find me after words in case you need anything. I will be in my office room on the third floor room 301. “
Torren felt like there was some hidden meaning in that. He shook the thought out of his head and walked in. The room seemed like what a typical office would look like. The desk was brown almost matching the door around the building. There was a massive painting of a building that Torren couldn’t recognize, but there was something written on the bottom right corner of the artwork. Torren could make out “Operation 0.” There was a big green chair with a guy in what Torren could see in his late twenties. He had a black set of hair that was fake by the receipt for a hair dye in this man’s trash can. He looked small sitting in that massive chair of his, making Torren assume he was small in stature just as he was slender in relation to body weight. There was a bunch of papers and folders neatly organized on his desk. From the biggest being on the bottom to the smallest being on top. “Good afternoon Torren, I am pleased to finally meet you. I heard so much about you from your uncle. Please sit down.” The small man said. “Hey uh… What is your name? Sorry.” Torren Asked. “Oh fuck me in the ass. I forgot to introduce myself. I am Andrew Bauer I am the head of the department that your uncle was assigned to. Also just to let you know don’t call me by any nicknames… ” “For your own sake” He laughed heartedly.
Uncle what have you brought me into and what were you involved in. If this man was your “friend” then who would need enemies. I hope you are able to guide me through all the shit that I will be going through, you confusing mother fucker…
“I’ll do it.” Torren said with an unsure face. “You don’t have to do this Torren, but you will be doing your country a great service and furthermore you will be finishing what your uncle left behind.” Mmmhmmm I am so sure I will have a choice in this. With that face plastered to that thick skull of yours. Your completely aggressive attitude shown by the papers on your desk for a list of fights you will be involved in, fight club style. That tattoo on your neck with the word “Marks” with 10 slashes underneath it. Yes you are totally a gentle creature Andrew Bauer the real question is will you kill me or help me kill that group to avenge my uncle?
The Brute, the Snake, the Butterfly, and the Phoenix.
“This month is your time in hell. I will not coddle you, I will not say good job, I will beat your ass if you slip up, I will break your bones if your risk your teammates lives, I will break your will to make you into a new being. Ain’t that right Phoenix.” With that acknowledgement a very slender yet muscular man who had an essence about him that screamed inferno nodded in the commander’s way. “I broke him down so much he won’t even talk to me anymore. I made him a mute and I will do the same to all of you if that is what is needed to complete your missions. If you even bloody survive me.”
“You can walk away anytime you won’t, there was no agreement to force you to stay here and endure me.” In saying that a few men and women were beginning to leave. As soon as they got roughly fifty feet away from the commander. He yelled “Just because there is no agreement, doesn’t mean I will let you leave without a fight! You have to earn the right to leave here!” Torren was confused as to what the commander was meaning. Then it hit him, the commander barked a few more orders and within seconds everyone around Torren except for four people that included the man Phoenix ran from where they were standing and chased down the men and women who decided to leave. They ran up to them, tackled them and beat them into the ground. Some men were hitting women, some women were hitting men, but to Torren it was complete chaos. Torren just stood there not moving a single inch, he had no clue what he was suppose to do. He kept looking around him in the airstrip and all he could really see was the commander who was laughing at the chaos while sucking on sunflower seeds and the four people a few meters away from him. There was a man who stood at a good seven feet tall and looked like he weighed about three hundred pounds of pure muscle. There was a woman next to him with long black hair that reached her waist line and it looked like she had not eaten in a few days, but confusing to Torren he could see muscles that were very defined. The girl next to her or what seemed to be a girl around Torren’s age looked like a girl from a Japanese manga or anime. She was very small in stature and was the shortest of all four, but it was as if she wasn’t even standing on the ground. Torren’s eyes linked with the man next to her. “Phoenix” Torren gasped. Torren tried to look away, but something was preventing him from turning his head and eyes away. Something deep down within him. He knew for some unkown reason that he needs to talk to him. He knows what happened to my Uncle he knows, I can feel it! Tell me Phoenix tell me what the hell is really going on.”
“Report back here now!” Yelled the commander. The men and women were all headed back all except the ones that decided to leave. Torren could see at least twenty bodies laying the ground unmoving. “Its a good thing none of you dumbasses killed those sorry sons of bitches.” All the men and women were looking around murmuring with one another. “Silence, you all failed the fucking test. The very first test and you guys failed.” The commander growled.
“How the hell did we fail a test, there was none we just followed orders, your orders to be exact.” Said a man who looked like he spent some in the penitentiary.
“You were not suppose to follow my orders, moron. How in the hell did it seem like a good idea to beat your fellow man as they were walking away when like I said were not being forced to stay.”
“But, but I, we..”
“But nothing, the test was to prove a point. Sometimes you should not follow orders and just follow your gut. Say if you were undercover in an organization where we gave you instructions beforehand to take out everyone in the organization’s stronghold. Perhaps you overhear guards that hostages are being held in a room nearby. Instead of wiping everyone out, you decide to wipe only the leaders and rescue the hostages. This is the right choice in this circumstance. What you need to understand is Relativity, every single fucking situation is relative, every order is relative, things they change, nothing is exact. So every single of you mother fuckers who beat your fellow man will run thirty miles with a one hundred pound back pack. Everyone except this youngling over here.” The commander said pointing to Torren.
Everyone of those attackers stared at Torren then sulked away, but one lingered awhile longer and glared at Torren slit his throat with his thumb letting Torren know his feelings about him were very strong.
Torren watched the man until he disappeared into a mist in the airfield picking up a pack of weight and began running further and further away. Torren felt like he was in a trance, he somehow passed the first test. Not on purpose, but by being in complete and utter shock. His muscles were tensed and were frozen in place. He couldn’t move even if he wanted to join the others in the beating. The only think he kept thinking about were those individuals that were just standing there. Standing there and doing nothing as well. They however seemed to be aware of what was going on, they weren’t in shock from what Torren could see and one of them was watching him. Watching him and staring back at him. Phoenix what is your story? Torren kept saying in his head.
“Torren get your ass over here!” The commander had said. Torren jumped out of shock and quickly strode towards the commander. He was thinking he was in trouble for just standing around like a moron. His fears quickly dissipated when the command rustled Torren’s hair and then gave him a big hug. “You know you even look like him, and just like him you passed the first test!” The commander was grinning ear to ear. “You will be training with a specialized group.” The commands then gently pushed Torren to the group of individuals that were standing around with the Phoenix. Stopping in front of the very large man Torren noticed before. The commander introduced the man. “This is Brute, because of well just look at this son of a bitch! He is the strongest man I have ever met and sparred with. He can also take a beating like no other human.” He went down the line introducing the brute, the snake, the butterfly, and the phoenix. The snake was a beautiful woman and what was told by the commander she is as silent as a slithering snake. Even though she looks skinny she has a ravenous appetite and is very fond of snake venom and poisons in general. Butterfly has an unnatural gift of manipulating people for any reason. She makes people of power to do her bidding if she wills it, she had once gotten a lieutenant in the Triads to kill his leader just because she asked. She even got a groom to shoot his best man and his wife, because there was nothing better on t.v. and she wanted to be entertained. When the commander got to the man named Phoenix all he said was he was reborn a new, and did not offer any more information regarding him. He did not describe if he had special skills or if he was intelligent or not. He never went over his background, just that he was reborn. From Torren’s perspective there was a subtle fear from the commander when he talked about Phoenix. His slight adversion from getting to close to him compared to the others, the small amount of information he was willing to say about him. The way his eyes darted away when Phoenix met his gaze. This made Torren more intrigued about this man, he needed to talk to him.
“Torren you will be spending a month in this specialized group, training with them so that you are ready to perform in your mission. Well I hope you will be able to perform.” With that the commander began walking away. “Just do what they do Torren, listen to them and learn from them. They will get you ready for what you need to do.” Torren watched him as he strode away into the darkness of the night.
Torren felt a strong pressure on both of his shoulders as if a giant was grabbing his shoulders and squeezing to break his bones. Then in a booming voice he heard a man say “Nice to meet you Torren we heard great things about you. I never met your uncle, but his reputation is known by each one of us.” Torren winced in pain as this giant of a man still did not let go of his shoulders. Releasing his grip from Torren the Bear said “Sorry mate, I sometimes forget my strength.”
Torren turned his head to look at the Brute, but instead of seeing a man’s face he saw a woman’s with black hair and her face had subtle beauty to it. She was sitting on the Brute’s massive arms as if she was light as a feather. One of her hands were being utilized to steady herself and her other one was flicking off the brute. “Oh come on, that’s just not right.” The brute said shaking his head at Snake. “He intrigues me…” She noticed just how surprised Torren was at seeing her so close to him and with one hand she unzipped her black leather jacket and reached inside. She pulled something out, but Torren was not focused on that. When Snake had unzipped her jacket he noticed that she was not wearing anything underneath. He saw her whole left breast and couldn’t resist a big gulp for sheer shock and nervousness. He noticed every little detail about that breast in the short amount of time he saw it. He noticed that the breast itself was perfectly round similar to that of the Mercedez-Benz Superdome. There were also three freckles surrounding the nipple. Snake pinched him on the nose and Torren let out a small whimper and a single tear came out of his left eye purely by reaction. She captured the tear in a vial and jumped off the Brute’s arms. Torren let out a light sigh when all of a sudden he felt a hand grab his right butt cheek firm but gentle and hear snake whisper into his ear “maybe you could see more sometime.” Torren was shocked, but quietly whispered “perhaps if you can handle me.” Then gave her a peck on the cheek and grabbed her butt firm yet gentle. She looked back at him in response that could only have been read as lust. She freed herself reluctantly from his hold and went back to where she originally standing. “Oh by the way, I love your freckles!” Torren yelled at her causing her to stop in her tracks and look back at him with rosy cheeks. Obviously being embarrassed and yet she was also thrilled by that comment.
Then Torren could have sworn he was inside an MMORPG because this girl right in front of him introducing herself as Butterfly looked exactly like one of his friend’s character on Perfect World. It almost like he had to slap himself to make certain he was in the real world. Apparently this tiny petite thing was the last one of the four to be included and apparently also the nicest from what he could tell. Although deep inside his gut Torren had a sense of coldness and a feeling of despair everytime he got too close to Butterfly. It kept giving him a sense he was sick or something similar to an ant biting him. It really did not feel good.
Phoenix acted completely different than the others. He never walked up to Torren and introduced himself and he never said anything to Torren. Causing Torren to be more interested in him, Torren kept thinking what is this guy’s deal? Did I do something wrong? Is he just a complete asshole? Brute noticed Torren’s gazes towards Phoenix and said “Don’t mind him too much. If you do what you are told to do and if you complete your training and assignments he will warm up to you in a way. Well its like a slightly warmer cold shoulder. I mean the most I got out of him was a very loud. Get the fuck out of the way! When we were fighting some low life guns for hire. He grabbed one of the men’s knives and launched it at one that was right behind me. He was a bit brash about it, but he saved my life. Lets go to our barracks, you will be joining us Torren.”
“Yes!” Said snake with devilish smile. She then grabbed Torren by the arm and led him to their barracks. Their barracks however were not the kind that Torren was thinking of. On the outside it looked like a typical military building, bland and efficient. On the inside it was a complete shock for Torren. To him it looked like he walked into the future. Everything was white with some black coloring for contrast. There was motion sensored appliances, robots moving around large flat screen tvs and monitors on every wall. Snake informed Torren that each one of their rooms are different. No one has been into Phoenix’s room yet, Brute’s room is filled with power lifting items and workout equipments coupled with a lot of fluffy animals. The theme of his room is rustic. Butterfly’s room is a dungeon with whips and torture devices with a very dark theme of black and red all over. Snake led Torren to her room and showed him a very deep side of her. One wall contained a library filled with works ranging from shakespeare, hemingway, J.K. Rowling, James Patterson, an abundance of romance novels and even more books about stealth and military tactics. Another wall contained a rock climbing feature that went to the ceiling as well. The last wall contained benches of vials and colorful liquid containing something that was possibly devious. What really caught Torren’s eye was the massive circle bed that had to be 20 feet in circumference in the very center of the room. “It’s a waterbed, a very big waterbed.” Snake said. “Yeah I can see that.” Torren replied. Giving Torren a wink “You should come by later tonight and so that I can show you how to ride with the motion of the waves.”
“Perhaps I will. Can you show me my room?”
“I can but there is no need for me to do so. Just walk out and turn a left, the closest door will be to your room and just walk in. Then the magic happens.” Giving Torren a show of spirit fingers in an effort to shoo him out. He took his leave and walked to the charcoal stained door. He slowly turned the handle and took in the view. To his astonishment the only thing in the room was a small white island. Reminding him of his uncle’s kitchen, where they cooked together and created concoctions that surely could have demolished their insides if they were to be eaten. His uncle however always told him “Even though we can create horrendous things it does not make us bad people. Remember that my nephew and you will get what you want in life.”
He walked to the small island and saw nothing. As he was trying to figure out what Snake commented on about “magic happens” he laid his hands on top of the island and felt a sudden surge of power beneath the palms of his hands. The top layer of the island was not white marble as he thought it was a concealed computer and a touchscreen at that. He tapped the screen and a voice coming from the island asked him for the password. Torren kept pressing his right index and middle finger to his temple as if that would cause him to miraculously figure out the password. Then it hit him, “Even though we can create horrendous things it does not make us bad people.” He said.
As if he was the son of God his voice brought movement, change and life. Things he has never seen before. All around him screens were popping up listing any items he could possibly ever want for a room and even just what he personally could have wanted not relating to the room. He was amazed, but he took advantage and when he tapped for a rock waterfall in the corner of the room, within seconds it appeared as if from thin air. He wanted a hammock that hung beside a small pool and that is exactly what he got. He wanted a nice grill and a pool table and again his desires were granted. By the time he was satisfied he got a small boxing ring, a punching bag, cuffs, a mirrored ceiling, tiny drones that were able to stun, weapons ranging from knives to bows and further into silenced pistols in beautiful crystal display cases on top of crystal tables. In the right light it looked as if they were floating. “Hey snake, I now know what you mean by the magic happens!” He cheered with joy as he climbed into his navy blue hammock. Within seconds his eyes became drowsy and eventually his mind slipped from consciousness to the realm of dreams.
Torren’s eyes flipped open. He could tell something was amiss, as if someone or something was in his room. He stayed perfectly still and tried to listen for anything, anything at all. All he heard were the light tappings of the water running down the rocks on his mini waterfall. He glanced up at his mirrored ceiling without moving his head an inch to get a better view of his room and saw nothing at first. Then he saw something moving towards the bed, his eyes were still slightly blurry so he could not fully see the figure. As he felt it get on the bed he made his move. He quickly flipped over onto his hands and feet and pounced at the figure. He tumbled off the bed and landed on top of the figure’s back and thats when he realised the figure was a girl. He rubbed his eyes and saw that it was Snake. “What are you doing in my room? I thought you were going to kill me!”
“I wanted to see you!”
“Why?”
“Well to tell you the truth Torren… I wanted to snuggle with you. I wanted to wrap my arms around you then leave before you got up.”
Torren was silent for awhile then he moved his hands which were pinning her down and moved them to her neck. He gripped her neck firmly then began to rub with a deep pressure.
“What are you doing Torren?” Snake asked as she was starting to blush.
“Shhh stay quiet.” He moved his hands lower to her shoulders and hooked his index fingers under her two straps of her night gown and pulled them over her freckled shoulders. He kept pulling passed her waist and further on until he took it completely off. He noticed that she wasn’t wearing anything underneath her nightgown and her figure looked to be one of an angel. An extremely fit angel. He leaned his head down and kissed the back of her neck and nibble on it giving her a small hickey causing her to let out a slight gasp. He kissed lower and gave a hickey to the sides of her breasts then continued to move to her lower back. He used his hands to spread her cheeks of her small white butt, and stuck his tongue out lowering it between her spread cheeks and licking her pussy from behind and below. He heard her beginning to moan, after licking her for a few more times he began to move his head away but he felt her hands on his head bringing him back down again. He did not mind she tasted surprisingly sweet, as if she was a ripe peach. He felt her move her hands away so he went back to kissing her neck as he pulled his sweatpants down and let his manhood rest against her butt. She made a noise and grabbed him and rubbed until he was hard then guided him into her. Torren began to thrust into her while his hands moved under her to fondle her breasts and rub her with his middle and ring finger. His member kept growing and getting engorged in blood as he was pumping in and out of her. Stretching her to points she never felt before. Making her whole body begin to shake and she could not help but to thrust back onto him. Every time he began to pull out she pushed back onto him not letting him fully leave her. Torren knew he was close to finishing now and so could she, but she did not care and when Torren tried to pull out she grabbed his ass from behind her and forced him to stay in her emptying his seed deep into her. After his member was done spewing its contents he lifted her up into his arms and placed her into his bed where he crawled up next to her to snuggle just as she wanted to do in the first place.
“Torren that was… you were… oh my… this might be so early and I might be a fool but I might be falling for you.”
“If you are then tell me your name. Your full name the one that was given to you at birth, no lies and no tricks.”
With that she sighed and nodded.
“Jenna Butcher, my birth name is Jenna Butcher.”
“Jenna is a pretty name. Why do you use Snake instead?”
“Because of what that name entails. It has a history that I would like to forget. My father’s last name is Butcher and he just so happens to be a butcher of people a butcher of twenty people to be exact. I never want to be associated with him again.”
Kissing her forehead Torren chose his words carefully. “He is still your dad Jenna and no matter what he always will be, but you could always legally change your name or get married to someone and take his last name as yours.”
“I just might do that.” She said as she looked up at him.
“Another time, another place, another life.” He said with a sadness from within.
“You’re right we have too much to do and we can’t risk everyone else’s lives just because of our selfish desires. It would cause unjustifiable deaths.” Jenna had said with a tone that was of acceptance of their situation. She grabbed Torren and whispered “Your training is not going to be easy. I won’t go easy on you, if I do you will fail and perish in the field. Promise me you will do your best all the time. Also call me Snake in front of the others, they don’t even know my real name.”
“I will Jenna, I promise.” Torren whispered into her ear as she shut her eyes and drifted away.
Torren took in her beauty one last time before shifting himself closer to her, wrapping his arms and legs around her body. “I promise I will, I just hope at the end of this we will be standing together.” He whispered as he was closing his eyes.
Training for Torren
“Get up Torren.” Torren was being dragged out of his bed by the massive hands of Brute. “We all need to report for combat training. Come on man, everyone already left.” Brute said out of urgency but with a small politeness attached to it. As Brute finally got Torren out of the bed, he told Torren that after he puts on some clothing to come outside and report to building C-5.
Torren felt empty at first and he did not know why. As he got finished dressing himself and began walking out of his room and he glanced back at his bed, he felt as if he got slapped in the face. He remembered last night and what him and Snake, well Jenna did. It felt like a dream as if it was just a figment of his vast imagination, but he knew deep down it really happened. The only question he kept asking himself was “Why wasn’t Jenna beside me in the morning?”
It took him a good ten minutes before reaching the building labeled C-5 and it looked like an abandoned warehouse. Very bland paint scheme on the outside with a faded C-5 above the door to the building. He walked and noticed that there were only a few people in this massive building. Each one he has personally met face to face within the last twenty four hours. Including his secret in the night. He sped towards the group in hopes of not being too late, but quickly realised that they were waiting on him. They needed him there to begin training for a group mock mission. They had to learn tactical measures and how to work as a well oiled machine with all of its parts moving in their designated places. This was a test to see just how well everyone of them could handle being in a situation, being given orders, telling orders, could they last in hand to hand combat situations. Would they be able to improvise and learn that if you can get your hands on an object and use that as weapon that may allow you to conserve energy for fighting off more adversaries. Or that the best way to knock someone out is from behind with a chokehold, but there are different styles of taking someone out and they needed to show to the commander what they could do and better yet what would their instincts be. Or atleast this is what he assumed he would be doing. Brute told him at the very beginning that “today is going to be a very interesting ordeal. Be on your toes Torren, you may not know what you might have to do.”
Torren liked Brute he seemed to be a generally nice guy who cares about everyone in the group. But he was beginning to get on Torren’s nerves. He just seemed too nice, at the very least too much in your bubble kind of thing. Torren happens to cherish his modest two foot bubble and Brute happened to always be six inches to a foot away from him. It actually made him feel like he was some sore of child or baby needing to be coddled and protected. As the training started to begin, Torren’s point of view quickly changed and definitely appreciated Brute’s proximity to him. The Commander the other day seemed very cheerful with Torren as if he was some long lost cousin. However something was different about today, something was off. Instead of being taught Tai-chi or taekwondo like Torren was hoping for the Commander tossed Torren, Snake, Brute, Butterfly and Phoenix into a concealed pit within the warehouse. The Commander hit a tiny button on what looked to be a garage opener causing gates to creakily lift up allowing beasts of some sort to come out.
As these beasts came out into the open light he noticed that they weren’t beasts at all they were people. Well things that had a resemblance of what was human. They had a gray pigment, a machete in either hand and just wore a loin cloth. Torren never saw anyone like them, thats when Brute said out loud “these people are from a tribe called Cantiliki and they aren’t to bad of a group of people if it weren’t for their irresistible desire for human flesh.”
Torren turned his towards Brute and asked “This is a joke right?”
Brute pointed his finger towards the gray man with a crown made of bones, they looked like fingers. He was obviously the alpha male of the group and to further solidify just what Torren’s situation was, the Alpha gray man bit off another gray mans ear and ate it in retaliation for that man touching his crown. The remaining flap of skin on the side of his head was gushing out dark blood. Torren thought the man was going to die and that he was trying to stop himself from bleeding. But what Torren saw put him into complete and utter shock and disgust. The began tearing the remaining piece of his ear and began to eat it. “He ate his fucking ear! What the fuck is this?” Torren was yelling at really no one. “I did say they have an irresistible desire for human flesh. Apparently that also includes their own.” Brute said while shrugging.
Torren began to realize that not a single person in his group were even being affected by this sight. Man these people must have done and seen some pretty fucked up shit to not even look away from that. He sighed with a sort of submissiveness “What do we do?”
“We fight to survive.” Brute said coldly looking deep into Torrens eyes.
Torren brought Brutes hand to his chest and Brute brought Torren’s to his similar to that of a chest bump with a combining handshake. “We fight to survive.” Torren said.
Snake
Her thought was cut off abruptly. The Commander had pulled a large metallic lever dropping all of them into a massive pit. Snake came to a realization as to what was going on and knew that they had to kill to survive, they had to end these vicious cannibal’s lives to save their own.
Noticing the sickles that four of the tribesmen carried and their leader wielding a massive spear that serrated sides near the tip. Perfect for ripping out flesh when retrieving it after one would have thrusted into the body of an enemy.
“Torren we need to get rid of their weapons!” Snake cried out. As she moved her position away from the front to near the far back right corner of the pit so that she could get a better view of the pit. The pit itself was literally just a pit, it contained a few torch lights that gave an orange like glaze over everything. There were bones piled in a corner of the pit next to animal skin beds. There was something off about the bones, for each skull that was there, another item was next to it. It looked to be a headdress or a headband made of beads and string. Then she understood what it meant after glancing at their current attackers. No it can’t be, they even ate their own people. They killed and devoured their flesh. Why? Why would they do this?
“Guys watch out they ate their other members, they are extremely dangerous.” Snake warned them. Unknown to her the leader of the group had already bitten off the ear of one of his subordinates and ate it right in front of them. “Yeah I think we got it…” Said Torren in his shocked tone. Snake started mixing up her liquids in her vials to concoct something special for their attackers. As she was creating her mix Torren slid under the legs of the leader grabbing the mans weapon as he went. Ripping it from his grasp. Torren tried to thrust the spear into him as soon as he got to his feet but one of the mans subordinates hit Torren with a bone cracking blow to his shoulder completely shattering it. Torren yelled out in pain as he dropped the spear to grab his now useless shoulder. The man was about to go in for a second attack. “Torren watch out!” Snake screamed. She thought he was going to die by that massive mace. But Torren quickly sidestepped the attack and smashed his knee into his attackers face. His knee crushed the man’s nose and pushed his shattered bones into the man’s skull instantly killing him. Woah I did not see that coming. There is something… off about Torren. How did he know how to do that, from what was known from the group yesterday was literally the first time he has ever had any experience in our type of training. Torren was still clenching his shoulder as another man came at him. However Brute grabbed the man by the head from behind and squeezed with all his might until his head had liquified into a pool of blood and brain matter. No skull could have been seen from that mess.
There were still two men left and they were coming after Snake. Snake quickly reacted with her finished concotion tossing the liquid into the men’s faces. They started laughing after it struck them in the face. IT reminded them of splashing water on their faces by the river. Soon their laughs turned to grunts and growling. Their eyes formed into a glare and they turned to one another fighting in hand to hand combat. Snake’s liquid was a recipe that she perfected from the worn book. It caused men to attack their comrades ruthlessly until one of them died. The only issue with it was that if there was still one standing that person still would be enraged and try to kill everyone else. The leader was able to get the upper hand as his subordinate put down his arms to defend his legs from a kick. The leader quickly grabbed the man’s remaing ear and ripped it off his head. The man screamed out in pain, the leader took this chance to finish what was started and with both hands he shoved his fingertips on the inner parts of his mouth overlaying the man’s teeth and pulled in opposite directions until he heard a loud crack. The man’s jaw was broken to the point it was dangling past his adam’s apple. The skin was also ripped from the force of the jaw breaking showing the muscles in a twisted position that was sickening to the stomach. The leader turned to Snake still seething with rage. Snake knew she was no match, she had no more time to make another potion and she wasn’t strong enough to take him on in a physical fight. He saw Torren in the corner still seething in sheer pain, with Brute trying to mend his shoulder at the very least stop the bleeding from the wound. She thought it was going to be the end. When suddenly she saw the man bend over her in a quick motion with his mouth open wide with a spear head sitting on his tongue. She had no clue what happened until she saw Phoenix looking at her coldly. She then knew that he had grabbed the spear that Torren dropped and thrown it at the leader to save her life. She pushed herself away from the dead leader and saw Butterfly going to each of the dead bodies examining them and writing something down in her tiny notebook. She looked up above and saw the Commander standing perfectly still at the edge of the pit. Just watching. You fucking asshole…
Commander
“Are you certain about this Commander?”
“It is the only way.” The commander replied.
“But Torren is not ready, he doesn’t even have any combat training and you are tossing him in without weapons.”
“That is why I must do it. He has to be able to survive hopeless encounters to endure what he must face.”
“What about the others?”
“They will be his anchor, his life line. If they all survive, they will all go on the ship tomorrow.”
“Commander I must ask why travel by sea?”
“Because Abel has all air travel monitored. We learned that the hard way.” He said with a slight give of depression.
“If Torren can’t do it, there is no one else isn’t that right. Do you think he can be ruthless enough to survive.”
“Just because you saw him as a civilian does not mean he will act the same. Don’t forget who his uncle is.”
“Fair enough, but are you going to tell him what courses through his veins. If they find out who he is, what will happen to him?”
“My guess get him to join them or take his gift.” The Commander shrugged in response.
“Can they really take it?”
“Who knows, but they would still try.” He said in a serious tone.
“When are you going to test him?”
“Now!” The Commander said in a booming voice as he walking away down the corridor, causing his word to lightly echo down the vast pathway.
“When will you tell Torren what you know Scarlett? That you know who killed his uncle?” The Commander said sternly but light enough for it to not echo.
She was silent for some time.
“When it is necessary, I will tell him...” Scarlett replied as she walked away pulling up her red hood.
The Commander walked a few steps from the corridor out onto a large balcony. He then turned and faced the five group members. “I am glad the five of you are all here now. Remember the lot of you that teamwork is key. When all of you work together the likelihood of surviving increases exponentially.” With that message the Commander pulled a lever that caused the ground to part ways under the feet of the unsuspecting group members. As the final one fell he yelled with extreme seriousness “NOW FIGHT TO SURVIVE!”
Torren
“God damnit!” Torren yelled out as he finally reached the top of the pit. “What was up with that?” Torren directed to Brute who came over the the lip next.
“Honestly I don’t have a fucking idea. We never had to deal with something like that before in training.” He said as he shrugged his shoulder.
“What do you think Phoenix?” Asked butterfly. Phoenix just looked up and shook his head. “Hmmm guys it looks like we gotta take Torren to the med table.” Snake said as she was poking Torren’s shoulder causing him to wince in pain.
“No, he can get fixed in the FML pool!” The commander yelled by the doorway.
Everyone was shocked, and Torren noticed it.
“Hey guys is there something wrong with the FML pool?” He asked warily.
“No, but uh it’s on a ship. Does that mean we have a mission?” Brute asked the Commander.
“Your orders will be explained in detail when everyone of you gets on the ship. Pack whatever you think you will need, It will be a long trip.” The commander replied.
“How long of a trip?” Asked Snake.
“Two months.” He said while disappearing without another word.
“Two months? What could we possibly be doing for two whole months? Why by ship? Don’t we travel by air for most of our missions, arrive at the location by plane then get quickly flown out of the situation.” Brute frantically asked.
“Oh quit your bitching, meathead.” Snapped Snake.
“Lets go Torren we gotta go pack.” She stated while pulling him by his ruined arm.
“You know she is a tad bit cruel.” Butterfly commented. Phoenix and Brute noded in unison.
When Snake and Torren got back to the Barracks Torren began to walk into his room. After taking two steps into his room all of a sudden he felt something small and hard press up against him shoving him onto the ground. He landed on his shoulder and let out a gasp of pain. He turned over to see what had hit him and saw Snake over him grinning. “Don’t be such a baby, what happened to that vicious side of you that was in the pit?”
“I was fighting for my life, I didn’t have a choice Jenna.” Grasping his shoulder.
“Well whatever the reason I liked that side of you a lot.” She said while biting her lip.
“Um why are you giving me that look?” Torren asked.
“If you don’t know then you know nothing Torren.” She said. Turning the lock of the door causing Torren to flinch.
Jana
“Have you heard about what happened to the spy?” Jana asked.
“Heard about it? Jana I was the one who killed him.” Abel responded in a quick, but harsh tone.
“Wasn’t he close to you? I am shocked you were able to do that Abel.” She responded pressing two fingers to her lips trying to express her surprise.
“He was closer to Isabella.” He grunted trying to cut the conversation short.
“Oh thats right you like the boss, and here I am fucking you every weekend. Do I mean nothing to you?” She said placing her petite hand over her left breast. As if she was trying to shield her heart from the damage of Abel indifference towards her.
“Just shut it Jana. If anyone is being used its me in this arrangement.” He retorted.
“How so?” She snapped back.
“Because I do not call you to come over. You call me. You call me even though you know how I feel about Isabella and yet you choose to prey on my feelings and weakness just because you have a slight resemblance towards her.” He responded giving a light sigh as he was trying to recover some of his outward emotions.
“Ha stop being such a cunt! We are in a criminal organization. WE PREY ON PEOPLE!” She responded leaving Abel with a feeling of a harsh slap to his face even she never touched his cheek.
Coming up with whatever he thought might get at her he said. “We what we eat you dick.”
Time went on as they looked at one another thinking about what was said just moments ago. Until Jana broke the awkward silence. “I do wonder something.” she said as she lowered herself straddling him.
“What is it” He asked as he began to rock his hips and pressing the mattress with his feet helping him to thrust with more precision.
“Did Isabella herself give the order to kill him?” She asked while arching her back in response to Abel’s actions. Looking up at her from previously been devoted to her breasts. He said “Yes she did, she knew none of the others would have been able to do it. Including you.”
Changing positions so that he was now behind her and she was on all fours. He began caressing her and lightly pulled on it for leverage.
“I didn’t tell Isabella about this, but he caught me before I could assassinate him. I entered his house believing he would not have a clue as to me being in his presence. But as I entered the living room he began addressing me as if he had known I was there the whole time. He told me that he was glad it was me and then he said some odd saying about how when one ends another shall begin. Or something like that. Then he just went to his knees and allowed me to kill him with no fuss.”
“Maybe he was passing the torch onto you. I mean he was practically second in command.” She responded.
“No the way he said it didn’t correlate to that and it when he said it, it was as if he wasn’t even talking to be but to someone who wasn’t there.”
“Well don’t think too much about it. Production is ahead of schedule and I uh persuaded some officials to make transportation easier and had them overlook a few things at those plants.”
He tried to do exactly that, but after their session was completed and Jana was fast asleep. All he could think about was that phrase he heard him say. When one ends another shall begin. He had an ominous feeling. Perhaps it was Jana’s sexcapades with officials and him not having a check up in over three months. No it was something much more subtle than that...
