Holiday Magic

The holidays,

A time of year that feels most magical

There's something special about it

It's almost as if nothing bad can happen during it

Beyond the delicious food and bountiful presents,

There is caring, consideration for others

Thinking of them before yourself

The holidays,

A time of year that inspires giving

And brings out the love in us all

Throughout this time, family is the foremost thing on my mind

All I can think of

Is what I can do to make them happy

Whether it's with a longed for present,

Or just a warm hug to show I care
