Eragon

This isn't a book that I read, or one that a friend wrote, but I believe it is worth reading. I believe I mentioned the Eragon series in another one of my posts, but I just want to advocate how great of a series it is. It has everything that any reader would love: drama, action, a love story, magic, and endless possibilities. It really keeps the reader guessing about what other adventures the main character will go on. It honestly helps to inspire the imagination and allow for an easier writing process. Ever since I read that series, I've never had any problem coming with topics to write about or ideas for stories. Also, being totally transparent, before Eragon I hated to write. I thought it was dumb beacause I had never read a book that truly interested me, so why would I try and write one? But after reading the book something changed, my appreciation for books and novels grew. My appreciation for the writing community grew, which is how I came to find this website. Reading this series really served to turn a new chaper in my life and I want to share that experience with everyone reading this post. I hope that you consider reading this series and spread the word, it's definetly worth it. However, the movie is not good at all compared to the book. It skips over many parts I would say is essential to the book, and leaves many plot holes that never get filled by the end of the movie. Thank you, and happy writing!
