Within the time
It was a cold winter morning. The old man was sitting in his armchair drinking his tea. Outside, a great stillness, not a sound, not a moving thing, not a living being. Inside all lights were off, the radio was off and even the stove that was cooking biscuites just the other day was off.
First of all, the youngest nephew came inside with two loafs of bread and some cookies. He put the food on the table and sat beside his uncle. Second, a woman in her 40's came and brought with her some eggs, ham and milk. Then she sat in front of her father and the nephew. Then a man came, left his tools in the garage and join his wife and his father-in-law.

The old man wrote his will and was preparing to read it all loud. He took care to include all the family but his little nephew, who was already 14 years old. The boy asked with shyness:
- You said that all of us had inherited something still you finished reading the list and I am not on it. What will be the thing that I will have to pass on when my time will come?
And he got the answer:
- Oh, my little boy! But you already got more than anybody here and this gift will be more precious with every second that goes away...
