Wounds Heal, Scars Fade
It was not long ago
That I fell and broke my wings;
One night of temptation
And a whole year of dark things.
Running in bare feet;
Walking in stormy roads;
Crawling in the dark,
Left in the floor, fainted and bold.
My eyes are bleeding.
My skin felt so cold.
As if death is hugging me;
As if I were stoned.
Then I looked back and noticed
The door is open a tiny bit.
'Saw a light shining through.
'Heard the same song when I met you.
Silly of me but I smiled
And remembered that I am still alive.
Even gray or blue are a color's shade
And wounds heal, scars fade.
The songs we can rewind
The pictures we can hide
The memories i can remake
My heart and therefore my love
You can never take.
