How I’m Feeling Now

I take a time machine known as "memory" back to sixth grade when I received an acceptance letter from Lakeside School. This felt like being accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, or being invited by Gandalf to join his latest adventure. The feeling was pure joy. Pure warmth. What's more, the acceptance letter indicated why I'd been chosen: my passion for writing, my writing about Tolkien being my idol in the application essay. I travel back to last night, when I thought, "Remember the happiest you ever felt, now feel even happier." And that's how I'm feeling now.
