The anxiety doesn't go away,

I had a flashback yesterday,

It has been three years since my life has changed,

Sometimes I'm still afraid,

She came into my life to save me from my depressing pain,

She will take it all away,

She will be trained to come and save the day when I'm lost in the trenches of my brain,

To guide me when I'm lost,

I wish you could pet her but she is no ordinary dog,

She is my lifeline for when I want to end it all,

So please respect the space of a service dog.
