Soul Contract

a matter of destiny,

it feels like we were destined to be,

fate failed to stop our wheels from turning,

failed to stop us from rolling in the same direction,

synchronized, it seems your the other half of my spirit,

i ingest your theories and perspective with a sober sense of familiarity,

a sense of oneness,

a sense of being one with you,

i have fun with you,

we find ways to be productive,

ways to embrace our nature,

we see the same things although we may see them differently,

forward is the only way we seek to go,

both aware that the path to our purpose is immersed with challenges,

so that we can be challenged to grow,

challenging what we claim to know,

we own the gravity of our essence,

the weight of the claims we make in an effort to change or remain the same,

we hold each other accountable,

we become vulnerable with the intent to surrender to the light of our being,

praying that greatness encumbers us,

we resonate with one another,

opening our hearts to understand the depths of being soul-tied lovers,

we agreed to uplift each other’s soul,

a soul contract we choose not to sever.
