the universe speaks and she screams
her body withers
with withdraw
as the universe
pulses through her
she grabs a pen
and begins
writing down
the whispers
her hands are
moving so fast:
adrenaline running,
heart pumping,
almost too fast
the pen begins
to go weak,
her fingertips
begin to bleed
she traces
her blood
on what's left
of the papers
then moves to
the walls
words are
spilling out
faster than
her mind
can think
then
she begins
to scream
pain travels
through her veins
and knocks her
to her knees
she can't speak
air is coming in
too fast,
she can't catch
her breath,
as deaths from
the past
come back
each gunshot
fills her chest
each abuse victim's
bruises
come to view
she can feel
each child's bones
growing
inside
of her
every cut
every scar
every prick
comes upon
her skin
every sorrow
every hurt
every soul crushing
moment of time
engulf her
within
her body's
giving out
tears begin
to slip
and murderous
screams billow
from her lips
her bones begin
to break
her flesh begins
to weep
crying with
every morsel
of every being
of you and me
and after all
the blood's dried
after every word
she wrote's
not been justified
they end up
calling it
an intoxicated
suicide
