This is a Test Story
After 13 years of misadventures and bringing joy to our home, our beloved cat passed away. He was a bit of a clutz, but his curiosity often got the better of him. He was always willing to try new things.
One day, my wife was sitting on our bed, getting dressed when she noticed our cat examining the drawers of our double bedroom bureaus, which she left slightly open.
He decided to test out his ability to walk along the top edge of each draw. He carefully made it across the top of the first draw as if he was on a tight rope. Gingerly he places his paw on the top edge or the next draw, halfway across, he started to wobble and looked at my wife. Still staring at her, he took the next step, only to miss the edge with his paw and fall headfirst down past three draws onto the floor.
He jumped up on to of the bureau a second time, tried again and ended up back on the floor. My wife sat there laughing out loud at him, as he jumped up on top of the bureau and sat there looking at her he tilted his head with that questioning look as if to ask her, "Well if it looks so easy to do, why don't you try it?" look.
