She Ran Through Life
Why is she running through life
Like it’s a racetrack?
If she pushes herself any harder,
Will she crack?
What is she running from?
What is she hiding?
Why is she running?
What is she fighting?
She needs to slow down,
Because when her run is over,
She will realize,
She did nothing with her life.
Should've slowed down, she will say.
Should've stopped, taken a look around,
But now there’s a price to pay.
She took the wrong path,
She went the opposite way.
There used to be time to turn back.
Fix the crack.
But she’s done now-
She’s finished.
There’s nowhere left to go.
the curtains have drawn,
No one’s got time to lend.
And unfortunately for her-
It’s the end.
