Not Waving But...

Driving. Oh the horror of it.

I have serious problems not in driving a car but in steering it.

You see I am a confirmed biker having owned and ridden most things from a tiny Honda C90 Super Sport to a Guzzi to a VMax beast and I have no issues with motorbikes apart from those ponderous Gold Wing things that are so heavy.

Anyway, I passed my test easily and obtained my full license many moons ago, long before power steering came into the mix. And at first I had no problems in driving cars but, several years ago I got the steering wobbles and from that moment onwards I couldn't keep the car travelling in an exact straight line.

It's sort of like a pro golfer who wins everything and is a big star, but then starts mis hitting off the tee, is it shanking they call it? And they have to see a swing doctor to put it right.

It's like that, only steering a car!

I mean, I don't mind it personally, but any passengers in the car suddenly start staring nervously and eyeing the door handles!
