I guess I’m lucky I sucked at tying knots
Or I wouldn’t have made it past the age of 10
The marks around my neck faded away before anyone saw, but the pain still remains to this day.
I can be happy. I can make you laugh. But inside there are days my brain is crap.
I try to be nice. I try to get along. But no one knows that im struggling to be strong.
I’m better now and I’m on the rebound.
But I can tell why smiles sometimes hide doubt.
