The faint fluttering of tiny wings,
Sounding in the distance

A golden gleam of pixie dust,
Drifting throughout the night
Closer, closer
A melodic voice,
Tinkling like chimes in a gentle breeze

Ever closer
A famished fairy bearing crimson stained fangs,
Longing to feast on human flesh
Closer and closer,
Until you're dead
