Travel: from Lightning’s POV
Traveling has given me culture, knowledge, experience, and "backstage" facts to a country or even just mannerisms. It has affected me to make me brighter, smarter, more knowledgeable, stronger, more confident, and more efficient in my works.
I love history and geography as much as I love scouring Google+. One of my friends' family is from Cyprus.
Her mum said, "Oh, I'm from Cyprus, so we're visiting next week."
To her surprise, I replied, "Wow, cool! The only country with a split capital, Nicosia. Also, my birthday's on the independence date of Cyprus. Did you know?"
She replied, "Wow. Most people don't even know what Cyprus is!"
It's wonderful, having a world map in my room and being able to connect to politics and geographical changes on such a "personal" level.
It's amazing, too, to get to go to the countries I have wondered about and searched up. I'm going to Italy soon, and it's going to be absolutely wonderful since I already know so much "backstage" info that's not on the guidebooks.
It's actually beautiful.
It's amazing, travel.
As I write this one last piece before heading to Hershey Park, in Pennsylvania, and then heading to Italy, I'm thinking...
I can't wait for my next adventure.
