The Strange Figures
Luna walked down the hallway, admiring the different statues and paintings that lay before her. Never has she seen such artwork!
"Luna," Rose called out, "Check this out." Luna walked in over to a display of two figurines garbed in sheer cloth. Flower petals froze in midair as the statues tossed them along their path. "Where in Enternia have you seen that?"
Luna shook her head. "Nowhere I've read." She lifted her hand and carefully extended a finger towards the floating flowers. How were they floating, she wondered.
Rose shot out her hand to grab Luna's. She shook her head. "I've heard from Mrs. Sax one night about petals that never fall." Luna rolled her eyes. "She's serious."
"That's impossible," Luna replied, "Never in Enternian's history has that ever been!"
"What about that tablet?" Luna pinched her lips together.
"That one's tricky," she admitted, "The man doesn't resemble any great figure, yet it's something we've never seen. Ever! No merchant had anything of the sort!"
The two exchanged concerning glanced. These didn't add up. Where did these artifacts come from if they weren't from the early civilization?
