Dear South African Government- You have failed us again.
3000 women are murdered in South Africa per year
50 000 sexual offences are committed against women in South Africa per year
And still, the South African government refuses to declare that Gender violence against women a state of emergency.
Time and time again
they have turned a blind eye to our suffering
they have been deaf to our cries for help
As our government, it is their job to
protect our rights
serve and protect the country and its people
but time and time again they have failed to do these things
time and time again they have failed us.
Failed to do the job they were elected to do.
They care so little about their mothers, sisters, daughters, and aunts that they have not lifted a finger to help the situation.
This is not the South Africa that
Nelson Mandela, the father of our nation
Spent twenty-seven years in prison
And sixty years of his life
fighting for.
Please sign and share the below petitions the first to get the South African government to declare violence against women a state of emergency and the second to bring back the death penalty in SA for crimes against women.
