A Story
Nonsense... is it good or bad. Being in love is nonsense to everyone except the two people who are in it. For her situation this was the case. So their love was nonsense to everyone but them.
What is it that caused her to take that leap? The answer hides within his eyes. Only she can see it. If you're lucky enough though to catch a glimpse then you'll see it too. What will you see? You'll see in his eyes the love he had for her. A look of wow, a look of admiration. Now if your in the right place at the right time you can catch her smiling, and for a moment you'll see the love she carries for him. Some might not understand, but that's the consequence of falling in love.
Safety and security is what she found in him. She felt loved, safe, and secure with him wasn't that enough? Yet, a time apart was needed so the two could grow. Time would tell of the events that will become. She waits, and grows, and comes to a halt on this journey. Life goes on just as it has and always will. On this long road once in a while a rare opportunity is given, that chance is called starting over
Some might see this as agony while others long for it. That's all she wants, to start over. Erase all the mistakes and uproars and begin again. What will he say? Will he approve, deny, or embrace it? She first must fulfill her destiny before the question can be asked and answered. A question that when asked, will silence fall?
Although she tries not to concern herself with that for now because there are greater things ahead.
The wait comes to a close, or rather is opened to a new realm. One where a small amount of communication can occur but a distance separates the two. It's not what one would expect, when reunited. She thought being together again would ignite the promise they had made to each other from the very beginning. Unfortunately being apart for so long had become the new normal and while she did not know it yet, he was already gone. Do they dare to take the plunge and try again? Is it worth the risk? How did he simply forget everything they once were? Did time apart destroy a love that could have burnered forever? Or do they both agree to leave it all behind and walk away?
Being who she was before him, and thriving in a life apart. It was supposed to be a good thing but following the rules can tug on and change a heart. While it was right, she dare not open her heart, because what if he breaks it again. Yet there's something in his demeanor that has changed. He is different and so is she. It's a new journey and a new road, but how did he forget all those promises he made to her, and everything he shared with her?
I guess he just did.........
You can't live in the past because if you do you'll never move ahead and you will miss out on what's in store for you right now. Maybe that's what a break in a relationship is meant to be. Acknowledging the past relationship and realizing we don't forget, but we don't stay there either. Move on look at who you are now, embrace the now, and look forward to the future. Even if that means leaving a love you thought would last forever.
