Chapter 2 The Invasion

They have been here for only a year and a half before the village has seen danger or threat and mostly the area was looking quite nice, with all the houses built yet not all jobs and equipment was done. The only people who had weapons and equipment were the leader by the name of Matt, matts gard and friend matison who, and gavin the head in magic and beasts. Matt was a fan of a broadsword and a katona that he had owned in his youth by his friend fredrick who was a great blacksmith. Matison was a great knight who used a shield that has protected her many times and a short-sword that is sharp enough to cut steel. Gavin, who is not a fan of physical weapons, uses his knowledge of the elements by concentrating bolts of an element through his staff.

A soden fire out of the forest and the crying of battle awok the leader matt and he quickly got out of his bed and grabbed his weapons and armor. Then he heads to attempt to wake his friend “Get up! Were under attack!” Said matt. “What? How many and Who?” Said Matison “I don’t know either of those. I'm heading out to help.” Matt heads down to the open yard of the village, he sees that there are around 16 noticeable enemies that are chasing the unarmed people the only one that is out fighting is Freadrick the blacksmith who is fighting 3 people who had short-swords using his axe and hammer. As Freadrick is fighting suddenly a bolt of lighting flashes by his head and hits one of the 3 fighting frederick and they drop. Matt turns to see his magic expert gavin who had fired the bolt then he turns back to see a man in big armor and a greatsword. The man swings as matt pulls out his broadsword and parrys it then lets go with on hand and pulls out his katana and digs into the man's shoulder and he screams in pain and tries to swing again, Matt quickly moves to the left side of the swing and cuts the man's head off with the katana. As the head drops he sees two more starting to charge him when one of them gets rammed with a shield and matt notices matison was the one who rammed them. Matt then charges the one that was left and readys the katana well. The man he attacks tries to parry but goes too high then they get stabbed in the chest and falls over. Matison after ramming the man with the shield then hit him with the shield and stabs him with her short-sword. Suddenly the last of the ten start to run as the wind picked up and out comes a dragon the color of winter and looks at matt as its mouth glows white and fires an icy blast suddenly tackled Matt out of the way turns to see it hit an unknown person and he was frozen in a block of ice. After it was over Matt had people carry the frozen person by a furnace in the backsmith Building while frederick started to melt him out.
