The Coffee Nightmare
“There are two cups of coffee. One’s empty, the other’s getting cold. This is because she’s no longer in my life, my beloved wife, Melissa. She drank so much coffee she became a coffee bean. I just don’t know what to do with her. I’m so upset about this I can hardly stand myself. Perhaps if I drink as much as her, I too will become a coffee bean and I can be with her again? I just don’t know what to do anymore!” said Harold to himself at the kitchen table gloomily.
That night, Harold went to bed by himself and was truly broken-hearted. He put Melissa the coffee bean on his dresser near her cold coffee cup. He at first had trouble falling asleep, but at midnight, he fell into a deep sleep.
“Harold! Oh Harold!” said Melissa the coffee bean.
“What? Who’s there?” said Harold worriedly.
“It’s me, Melissa love,” said Melissa the coffee bean.
“Harold, you must drink as much coffee the day I turned into a coffee bean so you can join me,” said Melissa the coffee bean.
“But love, I don’t want to turn into a coffee bean! It’s bad enough that you’re one!” said Harold upset.
“It’s wonderful being one though love,” said Melissa.
“Oh alright. I’ll drink 10 cups of coffee and will turn into a coffee bean. I can’t stand not being with you any longer!” said Harold.
Harold got up and made a coffee pot enough for 10 cups. He drank the 10 cups in 30 minutes. He wasn’t too happy about having to do this but did. At first, nothing happened. Then all of the sudden, he turned into one too.
“Great. Now I’m a stupid coffee bean too. I should have drank the cups of coffee near my wife. What was I thinking?!” said Harold.
Now, their son, Ted got involved. He knew what happened before it happened because he had a dream about it happening. He went over to his parents house and found both of them in their places. His Father was on the kitchen table and his Mother was on Harold’s night stand.
“What am I suppose to do with the both of you now?” said Ted worriedly.
“This is Max their dog. Yes I’m talking to you Ted. Get both of your parents and place each of them at the place they sit at at the kitchen table. I need to undo this horrible coffee spell. This was from your wife's Mother-in-law, she’s a witch,” said Max their dog.
“Wow, now their dog’s talking to me, how odd. Well, I might as well listen to you,” said Ted.
When Ted put his parents in place, Max said a reverse spell. Both of his parents turned back into them self. Ted hugged and kissed both of them and explained everything to them. After that, Harold woke up and looked at his wife’s bed side and turned on the light.
“Oh thank God! It was all just a dream. I do drink too much coffee! I love you sweetheart!” said Harold kissing his wife on her cheek.
Harold found out that his wife had the same dream. She was also happy to see Harold. Harold then received a phone call from their son and he explained the exact same dream to him. Everyone agreed that they drank too much coffee and cut down to two cups a day after they had that dream.
