Serendipity the Dragon
Long ago, there existed a female dragon named Serendipity. She was a friendly and benevolent dragon. She loved discovering gold ore by accident in the cave that she lived in.
“I wonder if I’ll find anymore gold ore again today,” said Serendipity looking around the cave with her fire coming out to light up the cave to see in it.
Serendipity found some gold ore. She dug it out. Suddenly, a boy’s voice echoed into the cave.
“Hello? Is anyone in here?” said the 14 year old boy.
“Yes, I’m here. I’m Serendipity the dragon. Please don’t be afraid of me, I’m good,” said Serendipity coming into the light slowly to be seen by the boy.
“Wow! A dragon! Hello! I’m Arthur,” said Arthur.
“I’m pleased to meet you. Want to be my friend?” asked Serendipity.
“Yes! I love dragons!” said Arthur.
“Thank you! Want to go for a ride on my back? I’d like to show you my favorite place,” said Serendipity.
“I got to go back home. My family’s poor and I was suppose to be looking to hunt something,” said Arthur.
“I’ll get you a rabbit. Hold on. I know where they’re at,” said Serendipity.
Serendipity found a large rabbit for Arthur and his family. She gave it to him. It was cooked already and when Arthur took it to his family, everyone was happy.
“Thanks for the rabbit. My family was starving!” said Arthur.
“You’re welcome. I have gold ore. Want some for your family?” said Serendipity.
“Yes please, thank you!” said Arthur taking some gold ore from Serendipity.
Serendipity had to wait to show Arthur her favorite place. Arthur saved his family by giving his parent’s the gold ore. They were overjoyed to get it.
“Well Arthur, are you ready to see my favorite place?” asked Serendipity.
“My family wants to meet you. They’re outside of the cave waiting to meet you,” said Arthur.
“Yes, they may meet me,” said Serendipity merrily.
When Arthur’s parents met Serendipity, they were surprised at how kind and friendly she was. She told them they could have more gold ore and they accepted it. She also offered them a cooked rabbit. Everyone was happy and Arthur’s family were no longer poor. She then showed everyone her favorite place which was a lake that had tons of fish in it. Arthur’s family was also well fed and everyone lived happily ever after.
