Thunder and Tulips and Pigeons
There was once a little stone
Where nothing was in store
Flying through the dust
With it’s continental crust
God came along
Saying this is very wrong
Put his thinking cap on
And he planned until dawn
Added grass here and there
And breathable air
Pigeons all around
With tulips on the ground
In a short amount of time
Man came around prime
gave meaning to the air
And the grass here and there
God looked around confused
And a little bit amused
While looking at the humans
With their very odd conclusions
Man sits and wonders
What’s the meaning of the thunders
God says, “The thunder has no meaning.”
Man replies, “Huh?”
