To my Fire Star Lily

Flowers bloom and flowers fade

One thing that never fades is love

The wall flower speaks

Hearts maybe shattered into a billion pieces

But that just means I have more to give

To my Lily

Love is a giver cheerfully

Love is a joyful servant

Love is kind and patient

Love keeps no tally no records of wrong

Love is a master of repair

Melding pieces back together

Until it is whole

Making them new as one

No longer two flowers

The Lily outshines the wall flower
