An Old Man Speaks
I am afraid of unknown death
Not of me but memories instead,
Memories of time we spent
Happiness and sadness on which life fed,
Moments we both spent together
When age was young and dreams had feather,
Wishing we could meet once more
Sharing memories we had in store,
Body dies but soul doesnot
Every moment is a lesson taught,
Someday we will meet again
In different times with different names,
Yet we will recognise what lies deep
A faded feeling of old meet,
Like energy we wouldn't end
Changing forms every second.
