You know how they say the first few lines of a novel or short story are the most important ones, as they should grab the reader's attention? Well, here is a challenge for you: share with us no more than 3 sentences of your either already existing or soon to be written novel/short story, and let us guess the plot.

I Never Thought
I never thought I would be able to kill another moving, breathing thing, I had never been particularly violent; it wasn’t in my nature. The first time I even pushed someone over I cried and cried until the kid I pushed over looked at me, alarmed, and told me to “shut up”, but a lot has changed in two years. Two years, that’s all it had taken for the initial outbreak to spread past the borders, and now, I don’t know if there are places that haven’t been infected yet; news stopped coming after the first sixteen months, any communication had been cut.
