Death, Respectfully
Poised to pounce
Panther on the plains
Of a Serengeti
Feeling froggish green
Ready to betray the
Depth of my Fatherland
The craggy, sharp rocks of
This rainy sky sea
Fleeing to the
Ashy, burnt rich lands
Of flies that buzz the
Song of beautiful Atlantis
Once it dove into my
Life of webbed feet, fins
And plethora of colorful scaly skins
The fire, scars my feet
And gives me energy full
Bubbling blisters to savor
Ripe, acid taste of
Burnt flesh and fresh
Air that leaves pools
Of oxygen in the chest
Carnivorous plump opaque
Maggots to feast because
They’ve gorged on
Decadent decayed rotten
Eagle eggs rendering
My lava hot red new
Abode tantalizing and
Tortuous to my senses
On, on, soaring to
My sparkling fizzed
Champagne blue tent
That is topped by
The fresh morning
Mimosa sky and I
Decide to never
Die on top a blood
Red mountain top
