The Quieter I Become The More I Can Hear
The quieter I become the more I can hear
I can hear the pain and misery
In the voice of a stranger
I can see the raindrops and its crash on the window pane
I can listen to the heartbeat of a lover and the joy in his twinkling eyes
I can feel the mothers joy to see her child eat
I can smell the corruption in the glance of an officer
I can experience the agony in the voice of a cab driver
The quieter I become the more I can hear
And when I can hear I don't react anymore I respond.
