A Bard's Song
Come all ye bards near and far, come sing us a song from your pub and/or bar. Tell us a ballad of battles long past, give us a song for all time last. Sing us a tale of monsters dreaded, or sing us of all those wench girls you bedded. Tell us your travels and spread wonder and mystery, and tell us of the greatest party in D&D history.
BISOU
He sensed it in the air
Seeing something silver~
quite familiar—
The Shadow Man felt his body quiver-
She moved closer & slapped his face:
As if she was ready to also punch it,
The Shadow Man wondered what she was doing at his place. Why had she come to the Nightmares pit?
Then she burst out laughing
Placing her hands close to her head
The Shadow Man started clapping
Here he thought that she’d been dead
She stopped with her hyena chuckles
The moon was full & shining on her
The Shadow Man placed a hand on her freckles
He leaned in closer and grinned
Leaning in to give her a bisou
She blushed- and slowly smiled
The Shadow Man said, ‘‘I missed you!’’
