The End of Us : Part I

NOTE : This Story is a mixture of narration and self documentation. The story is written in simple language for the simplest of readers.

[Location : Altrax , a planet far away from Earth]

[The Current year is 2022]

4 years ago....

Soon the war ended with defeat of the Alcans . They were all to be slaughtered but their King took an oath to protect their race. So he started setting up a spaceship in secret so as to escape if they were defeated in the war. And they did were defeated and as soon as the Tracs released a decree to kill all the remaining Alcans, the King kept his promise and he escaped from the planet with all the remaining survivors. And they soon search for a suitable planet to inhabit on.....

[In the year 2023] [Earth]

“Yrr fdgj irtu jyr okh ytti”

(We found a suitable planet sire)

The Planatologist said to the King.

“Thy urth ijgg okyd ifgk ihf lojh uff trrg jj”

(Prepare the pods to send the search party to the planet)

The King commanded.

The search party of the Alcans soon landed on the planet of Earth. They searched for any life forms in the planet and they only found creatures that were not strong enough to resist the taking over of the planet by them. They found finely build structures whereever they went. So they had a suspecion that some form of intelligent beings had lived in that planet. But there were no trace of them. The search party went into several structures to find more information about the planet and its species. They had found lots of things that they took back into their ship.

“Turt ouyhk ytst iuyhk urr okhh eryh okgt. ugfyh jyyu ittt igy urt iyg i. Itfhj uftu utfh iigytth jfg ojhiuy. Igh hgf uhg ojj oiy ddty iyh ojh”

(We found these things from the strange structures in the planet. The creatures there are not strong enough to resist us. So we might have found ourselves a new home. But we think that there must have been some kind of intelligent life form which lived in that planet before they extincted. It seems that the extinction took place in the near past as the structures have not weakened. It might not have been a war as there are no signs of turmoil and destruction. )

The leader of the search part reported to the King.

The King looked at the things the party had brought back and ordered his scientists to look into them. The King ordered not to go into the planet Alcr (as they decided to call Earth as Alcr) untill the cause of the extinction was known.

[After 2 days...]

The Alcan scientists found out a strange thing that spoke and showed the image of a being. The scientists soon called the King. The King and the scientists believed that this being was a specimen of the life form that went extincted in the planet Alcr. They couldn’t understand the language but they knew the language so they extracted the audio and video into the universal translator which translated the language to the Alcans.

( English was a language which was not only confined to Earth. It was also the language spoken by the forefathers of the Tracs and the Alcans. What a coincidence! )

Soon they played the camera recording.......

[Location : Nancy’s House]

Hi I am Nancy Jones. I am the last human alive in this world , I believe. I am recording this because i thought that since this is the end of humanity, i would like to record something for the future species or aliens who would visit Earth someday. Atleast this will be a record of how humanity, the pinnacle of creation was defeated by their own greed. I don’t know if you would understand my language, but let me tell you about the tragedy of humanity....
