Colored Trails
It’s incredible how the most sincere amount of pain
Can cause the mind to motivate to reach new heights.
You walk the colored trails only to realize how black and white your life really is,
And for the better you recognize its denotation.
Weightless I walk these trails,
Spewing thoughts into a beaker,
Waiting for that chemical concoction that will give answer to all of the affairs that Yourself and Lupe collaborated to daub me with.
But these colored trails are defiant of your poison.
They shine independence, giving me time to glare into the radiancy of your Licentiousness.
You never cared though.
Caring was a cheap, tattoo sticker that you find in toy machines of laundromats.
You forge it to your skin, claiming that loyalty branded its position.
But how many days had passed before I observed it’s fraudulence?
How many days went by watching that promise peel off piece by piece?
How many nights must I had told a doubtful heart to think otherwise?
It hurts you know.
Recklessness intertwined with your infantility;
Made you a laborer to its trick.
Never letting you comprehend that once you entertain the idea of another Loyalty is Eradicated.
Never had I felt a force so fatiguing.
One day you’ll turn ego around.
One day.
