Teachable Moment

Outside with a precocious four year old on a starry night, I pointed skyward and said, "Some say there are patterns in the stars, Orion the hunter, the big dipper..."

Child, interrupting, "You mean constellations?"

Me, somewhat defeated, "Yes."
