Prose Challenge of the Week #17: You are a superhero. Write a piece about your powers and how you’ve abused them. 50 words minimum, 250 words maximum. The winner will be chosen based on a number of criteria, this includes: fire, form, and creative edge. Number of reads, bookmarks, and shares will also be taken into consideration. A Selfish Superhero?
Why was I born? If it's because of this... if it's because of my "super" power, then tell me why? I can make you happy with one small smile, I can make you love yourself with another small smile, I can make all of you happy! But I am not happy, I do not love myself. I thought superheros are famous but no, nobody knows me. No. I'm not a superhero. Do you know when I'm only happy? When I see other people who are happy, who are happy with themselves. I make other people happy not because of them but because of me, they make me happy, they're my superheros.
