Yet We Are Born
Everyone is born evil.
Everyone has the potential to be good.
There is no good without first the knowledge of evil. You become a good person when you realize social constructs, follow your own morality or those of others. Murder would not be evil if we did not know the sanctity of life. Human sacrifices are indeed evil but they were good in the sight of the beholders who found favor.
What we consider as good is the preservation of human rights. All good extends to personal safety and to help others achieve the same. This is 'good'.
When we are born, we often cause trouble by being unruly or stubborn but we are not aware of this. Our brains cannot even process the actions until toddler age where we begin to do things with intention. Our parents/guardians scold us when we do something that is against good or that is wrong, such as breaking or dropping an item. We are taught not to do this and so we are taught to be good. However, the action that we inherently took to break or drop was not taught.
Now establishing this, we can say that we are born evil. Any action that is not good is evil and as we do the contrary according to human instincts, we are doing evil.
