Evil is bred.
All throughout history, we have witnessed evil come bare destruction on society and its people. We have seen civilizations, entire ecosystems within an ethnicity or race, fall due to evil that has inflicted thousands of cuts. To simply say that people are born evil, is wrong and immature. We, as a people, become who we are because of society and its influence on us. This idea can be seen in Sociology, the study of how society affects us on a micro and macro level. We become deviant because society enforces that identity upon us, we become suicidal because society tells us it hates people like us, we become evil because society tells us evil. Teaches us evil. Evil is learnt. Murderers don't become murderers over night. They are bred to believe that they have the right to take lives, or they think that some lives simply don't deserve to live. Either way, whether it be Hitler, or a random hostage situation, that form of thinking isn't born. Hitler's parents most likely weren't bad people- his environment on the other hand? It simmered and stirred until it was ready, ready for Hitler to believe lies about Jewish people. His environment, his community, taught him evil. You can not be born evil. The entirety of newborns is the idea of innocence, evil doesn't stem from innocence but it does stem from innocence being taken advantage of.
