Soft Skin
We wanted to wear you
Like a sheepskin condom, against the skin
So we hatched a plan, whilst drifting between swipes
To meet you, to see you
And you came with us
On a Saturday night, to the bar
You talked with us, bashfully, playing
And you thought we were eccentric, exceptional
So you came home with us
And I... worked you
I worked you until all you breathed were sighs to my bedroom ceiling
Wonderfully waiting, for him to come by
From the side of my mind
He slipped on by, you not noticing
The switch.
He tore into you.
--
And I watched.

We dumped what we didn't need
And stitched together soft skin
We wore you like a condom
And got to swiping again
