I thought he was about to burp. However, he just started to talk. He talked, not as if he were addressing a nation, but rather as if he was addressing my and my kinsman. All of his words were precise, making my ears ring with jubilation. I then noticed something. He never seemed to blink. He never seemed to sweat, and he seemed to have no concept of breathing.
