Prose Challenge of the Week #20: Write a three sentence story about desire. The winner will be chosen based on a number of criteria, this includes: fire, form, and creative edge. Lilac
Her scent was incapacitating: sickly sweet, with a kick of something darker, more sinful. Everything about her drew you in: her large viridian eyes, the intensity of her gaze, the curves of her figure, the angles at the nape of her neck. Her eyes flickered to my ring finger, but she leaned in nonetheless, and the moment my eyes met hers, I was trapped, placed under a dangerous, irreversible spell; when she was gone the next morning, the only thing I could remember was lilac.
