Double-edged
Day pours into day making her cup run over, each passing second a fresh crack in the bottom. Dripping away, there's never enough time to finish this and still get that, she thinks to herself, but she knows her dream will be smoldering behind her eyes when she closes them for bed in a few hours...and just a few hours after that she'll crack them open again in time to watch her possibilities dance away with the darkness. After all, nightmares and fires are made of the moments before reaching ones true desires.
