Personal Evaluation
I gaze upon the sky so blue,
Pondering the existence I thought I knew.
The grass is green,
For this is true,
There's many shades,
Abstracts meant to confuse you.
Through my natural eye's I've seen,
Numerous colors,
Splashes of summer, fall, winter, and spring.
Glances of the mountains range
rough jagged edges,
Mysteries left unexplained.
Sounds of the ocean,
Consume my ears with delight,
As I witness the powerful waves in mid-flight.
Many a creature through my adventures I've noticed,
Some soaring gracefully through the air,
Others stomping steadily without a care.
Some that slither, some that crawl,
Some are so small we never take notice at all.
Then there's those that prefer to swim,
The range of mobility meets the individual demand.
I've made an attempt to count the stars,
A senseless waste that won't heal the scars.
