The killing wasn’t necessary, but fun. He sat, belly full, throat sated. He concentrated on slowing his breathing and relaxing his racing heart. He had nothing to worry about, for the women’s body was well buried, his tracks covered. Once his body settled he wagged his tail and awaited his master.
