Goodbye Brother

This man was no relative of mine, but still we were as brothers.

He stood by me while stones and accusations flew at me from all sides, and wavered not once. Now I stand at his lifeless feet and gaze upon his noble spirit as it howls a final goodbye.

And what now then for me? This I swear; that before this day is done I shall join him at Gods side, for I'll not walk friendless through my enemies ranks without taking one with me as trophy, as this day ends I'll show you his head my brother, farewell.
