I'm not perfect.

My thoughts are direct,

I'm haunted in retrospect.

My body isn't ideal,

But my mind is real.

I feel, and have great zeal.

I'm a little damaged,

But I've managed.

I've come a long way,

Since my first birthday.

A woman of morality and integrity,

Compassion is most of my personality.

I can be bright, or I can be dark,

I'm tender and soft,

But my bite is worse than my bark.

By no means am I everything I wish to be,

But to do so is my decree.
