Rozafat Castle
Fog lay over the Buna for three days and three nights.
Up on a mountain, three brothers working on a castle would be in sight.
The foundations were built during the day
But collapsed at night.
This left the brothers in dismay.
One day, an old man watched the brothers work as he came.
He said he had a solution to their problem, but it would be a shame.
The brothers agreed to take the blame.
The man asked if they had wives.
Because, he said, the one who brought food the next day would be buried alive.
The brothers were told not to tell under oath.
But the two eldest revealed the truth at home.
The next day, only the youngest wife was willing to go.
She went to the gentlemen with water and bread.
There is where she was walled up dead.
She only asked the men, to leave holes dor her right foot, hand, and eye.
So that she may care for her child whenever he may cry.
The castle never collapsed after it was done.
The only remnant is damp stones,
Of a mother weeping for her son.
