The Awakening

His soul breathed upon my skin awakening the heart that was once broken by the coward who left mystery for sadness. My skin pinched at the touch of his hands waiting for the lust to arise once again. Every time his smooth yet subtle lips brushed against mine felt like my broken world was awakening from the drought within. Yet again, a piece of him held back his emotions but brought out mine in every way. But he proved to be just like the others breaking my heart to bits as his cowardice flooded his body awakening my love from the desert only to cause an earthquake within. Although my soul was crushed, I now understand that the biggest coward is a man who awakens a woman's love with no intention of loving her.
