Is it fear?
Is it fear or being scared? Nah, don't think do. Everyone gets a scare from time to time. It could be a near miss in car, or hot zone with gunfire, where you just escaped certain injury or death. That is scary. Would that make you a coward? Nah, don't think so. I would say cowardice is, when you know what is right, and what is wrong, and you choose what is wrong, just so you are not in a position of discomfort. When you know you're desperately needed, and instead of stepping in, you step back. No there is nothing wrong with being scared, but a coward is someone who chooses to do nothing.
