If Cowardice Was Magnetic
If cowardice was magnetic, I would roll up a little ball of positivity— sunshine, laughter, confidence, friendship, joy and perhaps a bit of peanut butter to stick it all together. I would mindfully chew, swallow and digest my creation. My body would tremble and I would feel the worries and doubts and regrets and fears and self-hatreds charge through my bloodstream, migrating toward the small glowing mass inside of my tummy. A feeling of balance would overcome me and I'd fade into a blissful state of sleep. In the morning, I would drink coffee, use the toilet and live happily ever after, light as can be.
