Perhaps
I am reminded,
and I remember.
Jeweled tones
in the sky,
mesmerizing;
gasps of delight
follow each
revelation.
You and I sigh
with fire's glory.
The sound
of laughter
in the rain;
soaking in
the rapture
while slipping
on a rain slick
surface—these!
The warmth
of your spirit
as we shared
our energies;
the innocence
of a summer's
sweet season
given freely—these!
Time, time, time...
relentless.
We touch
one day,
then we are
but breath.
Such memories
bring melancholy.
Perhaps, in another lifetime?
