Prose Challenge of the Week #28: Write an acrostic using the word “Prose.” The winner will be chosen based on a number of criteria, this includes: fire, form, and creative edge. Anticipating Prose
Painting nails on hardwood floors, letting polish join drips from chameleon walls
Reading without turning the pages, letting red dry to a dull pink
Outside laughter is lost in conversations between sirens, but you know it must be there
Still air from a broken fan floats over your fingers, keeping you waiting
Every visible word now memorized, you itch to join the world on the next page
