The World Ends?
A soft blow sweeps across the land,
The dance of the wind has just begun,
Bit by bit patches of land become untethered but you do not worry,
No. Not this time.
You observe from a distance until everything in front of you is no longer recognizable.
Reduced to mere dust.
Rocks shatter but there is no explosion, no shock, rather it is like the gentle tap of a finger.
Flowers become one with the wind, mimicking the fae folk
Water brings no havoc but it simply evaporates with immense heat that seizes all land vegetation.
Clouds fall apart like they never existed to begin with and mountains crumble as if begging for mercy.
Then the wind stops.
You look around and see destruction, it’s terrifyingly majestic.
Then your blood runs cold,
It’s painful but…
but….
It’s kind to you, your insides seem to corrode away as a metallic tinge overwhelms your senses.
A small cough and then blood gushes out of your mouth like a fountain overflowing with wine
No longer needing to stand,
you sit down as you feel the life in you, once so bright and over joyous, now being drained out
It’s excruciatingly painful but a smile waltzes on your face nonetheless.
